Reaching Children in Africa
In 2019, a movement began in Zimbabwe to use Awana in a public school in Africa to see if it would help the behavior and academic struggles of the children in the school.
It worked!
Now, the national education director in Zimbabwe has approved an Awana club in EVERY school in Zimbabwe, and other countries have adopted similar initiatives.
What began in one school has spread to over 8,000 schools so far reaching 3.5 million kids!

Our goal in the Carolinas is to fund 200 after school Awana clubs in Africa by the end of the 2024-25 Awana club year!
